Kyle Moon, BS

Research Assistant III, Northeast Node of the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network, Center for Technology and Behavioral Health, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth

Kyle is a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. During his time at Notre Dame, he earned departmental distinction for his work on lead poisoning prevention in St. Joseph County, culminating in a multi-neighborhood community health intervention and a senior thesis evaluating novel methods of childhood lead poisoning detection using digital health techniques. Prior to joining the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health, Kyle served as a Research Associate with the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Evaluation Studies (HOPES) at Ohio State University’s College of Public Health. There, he contributed to a number of evaluations related to COVID-19 recovery, civic engagement, reproductive health, mental health, and health care service delivery. Additionally, he has been a longstanding volunteer in harm reduction clinics and syringe service programs, both in Columbus, OH and South Bend, IN. His interests lie in public health, implementation science, and mental health services, working to generate evidence for public health action and accountability. At the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health, Kyle is engaged in research that aims to optimize retention, duration, and discontinuation strategies for medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD). A native Midwesterner, Kyle is eager to take advantage of all the Upper Valley has to offer, running, skiing, and hiking alongside family and friends.
