Kelsey recently joined the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health and the Northeast Node of the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) as a Project Manager for a study focusing on treatment of opioid use disorder within a clinical emergency department. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2013 with a BS in biochemistry and graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2019. Kelsey previously served as a research technician in a laboratory studying preeclampsia and diabetes in pregnancy using rat model and worked with the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program collecting and analyzing data on programs throughout the country that promote positive youth development to improve mental and physical health in children. Her professional interest is in improving the health of individuals and the community through public health research that reduces stigmas and/or changes policy. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, attending yoga classes, participating in her church and reading.
