Description:

Observational research and digital health studies have made significant progress in recent years, including target trial emulations using real-world data (RWD) and translational testing of digital health tools in real-world settings. This workshop aims to introduce these trending approaches; assess their strengths, limitations, and potential; discuss feasible research questions; identify study priorities, and explore actionable strategies to address barriers and challenges for advancing substance use disorder (SUD) research.
