Science Series: Evaluating Preferences for Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Formulation and Treatment Model Among People with Opioid Use Disorders (OUD): A Mixed-Methods Study

Topic: Treatment for opioid use disorders (OUD) has changed significantly, including the development of long-acting medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) formulations, and integrated treatment models systematically addressing both behavioral and physical health. More information on patient preference for these innovations is necessary to inform a patient-centered treatment system for OUD. This presentation will review a series of mixed-methods studies using exploring preferences for medication formulation and treatment model among people with OUD.
