This webinar series is part of the Caring for ME initiative. The goals of Caring for ME are to support prevention efforts; maintain a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to chronic pain management; improve the safety of opioid prescribing; appropriately diagnose addiction when it exists; and improve access to effective treatments for patients with substance use disorder.

Discuss efforts to date in setting up programs that offer Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) within an Emergency Department setting
Provide insight into challenges and successes in setting up MAT services
Discuss what MAT services in an ED setting looks like
